Unexplained pain

Hi
Ok where do i begin...

2 Years ago i had a car accident, The day i have the accident i had pain running from my right hip down to my knee.
They diagosied it as a sprained knee and was put on crutches for 4 weeks. eventually the knee pain died down and i could walk on it again.
The pain was still present but not as bad. I kept going back to my GP as the pain was still there. He sent me for a Hip xray which i have never had the results back for. He ethen suggested to see a physo. I saw him and told him my pain and he said its not your knee its you lower back and the nerve is bruised causing the pain down your leg.
I saw him for a total of 9 months and at the 9 month mark the pain was a bit better but then i had another accident from behind and triggered the pain off once again. I went back to see him and he told me he couldn't do anymore for me.
I have put up with the pain for 2 years now but something else has started to worry me. The pain down my legs was getting really painful so i went to my gp again (a new one as moved area). He put it down to ciatica (sorry cant spell it). And gave me some diclofenac to take for the pain. I have taken this but the pain comes and goes and still hurts even after the painkillers.
The problem i have is this is now begining to happen in my left leg aswell. I have also notice when i get this pain my leg gets really hot I have had a increase of lower back pain and also have been having alot of **** in my leg and my hip. The pain also now extends now to my toes and sometimes my whole leg has a real deep ache. Can you help me?

I don't know what happened to B_Johnson.  My guess it that he has finals to study for.  Thanks for the compliment.

Did B_Johnson finally give up the war with you? I noticed that he/she was following up all of your responses with "Correction of wrong information". He hasn't posted in several days though. Personally, I think your comments are very helpful.

You need to see an orthopedist for this problem. Have Xrays taken and maybe an MRI to see just what is happening.  GPs are wonderful people, and they seem to have done everything they can for you, so now it is time for a specialist.
