Unusual Symptoms - Muscle Twitching, Bladder Problems, Sinus Headache

About two months ago, I started having some pronounced bladder problems (frequent urinary urgency). Within the next week, I also started having unusual muscle tremors throughout my full body, though mostly in fingers and neck. My fingers make small regular motions - of the sort I could not make consciously - without any control. These were my only symptoms for a period of about a month, and in that time I had an MRI and fairly intensive Lyme and blood tests done, which showed no abnormalities. My symptoms subsided for a few weeks. Within the past few weeks, I've also had a really unpleasant headache and hearing loss and tinnitus, which seems to be sinus related. The headache isn't actually painful, but can make it hard to think, and is accompanied by a certain lightheadedness. It is centered in the back of my head, and is accompanied by pressure in my ears (sinus). I also have felt like I am having a difficult time finding words or remembering things in the short term. I found another forum post which had strikingly similar symptoms, but which seemed to diagnose Lyme disease, which I have nearly ruled out (http://www.************.com/boards/lyme-disease/893564-muscle-twitching-all-over-body-headache-ear-pressure-discomfort-ear-ringing-tin.html)

I am 18 now, and was attending a (classical) music festival - I'm a pianist - at the time, and was practicing for extended periods of time (6-8 hours a day), which could contribute to it. I also started college, and it seemed possible that it was stress related - which is the direction my primary care provider is leaning.

I'm not looking for an online diagnosis, but I was wondering whether anyone has had similar symptoms, or sees a direction to pursue.

Thanks

I am glad your tests are coming back favorably. Since you have not been diagnosed with anything major, I would suggest seeing a chiropractor, you could very well have some pinched nerves in your upper neck and back, these can cause some of the symptoms you are having.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems.  Do you know what labs were done (try to get a copy of them when they are done - tell your doctor to have a copy sent to you and he/she will write it on the lab slip)?

Have you hit or jolted your head recently or in the past?  Do you suffer from migraines or have a family history of them?

Even though your Lyme titer was negative, have you been bitten by a tick that you know of or any other insect?

It's good that your MRI and labs so far have come out normal.  Since your doctor has your medical history, he/she would be the best person to know if this is stress-related.  If you still are not feeling well, you can either discuss it again with your doctor or get a second opinion.  Let us know how you do.
