What you have is a bladder infection called Cystitis.  This is very common and sometimes referred to as the "Honeymoon Syndrome", when people have rampant sex.

What happens is that the urethra is a very short tube that leads to the bladder and germs can enter the bladder and cause problems.

Do make an urgent appointment to see your doctor and take a mid stream morning urine sample so that the doctor can check it.  Depending on the results, he will prescribe you with an antibiotic.

To help ease the discomfort you can put a teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda into a glassful of water and drink this, you can do this every hour 3 times only and no more.  This will help to neutralise the acidity in the urine that is making is uncomfortable for you to urinate.

Even though it hurts to urinate, do make sure that you drink plenty of water.

A normal doctor is fine.  He will do a test on the urine with a urine dip stick that shows up different things and will be able to prescribe for you.

Just make sure you drink plenty.

Cystitis is an infection of the bladder.
The bladder that holds your urine is part of the urinary tract.

When people say UTI (urinary tract infection) that covers an infection in any part of the urinary tract which can be anywhere from the kidneys to the urethra.

Sometimes it can settle on its own, but what you must do is to drink plenty of water.

If you had sex only a couple of weeks ago with a week in between, it is far too early to know if you would be pregnant.  They symptoms you have with blood in the urine is a from a infection in your bladder and is very common after having sex.

Make sure that you drink at least 4 pints (2 litres) a day.
