Weakness with fasciculations

It's been about 3 years now, maybe since my emergency c section I had with my 25 week daughter that I've been having these symptoms.
I first noticed that it was extremely hard to walk up stairs in the morning. My feet felt very heavy, like lead. I had to go 1 stair at a time.
Then I noticed it was in my arms as well, like hanging up clothes my arms would get tired on each item and I'd need a break. My head also is weak. Holding the phone is painful between my ear and shoulder.

About a year and a half ago I noticed twitching in my legs. Not just here & there but alllll the time. They were and still are constantly twitching (fasciculations).
This is when I got nervous. I had severe anxiety and thought I had ALS. (I actually convinced myself that's what it was) it was a Terrible couple of months with constant worry.

I seen a neurologist and had an EMG done. Where they put electric jolt into your nerves to test if they're dead or dying and had an MRI. The EMG was normal but the MRI showed 2 herniated discs. He said that the herniated discs were NOT causing my symptoms but had no other answer for me and sent me along.
I bring it up to my Dr again and again and she doesn't seem interested to hear about it. At my last physical I told her that it's getting worse and I can't sleep it's interfering with my daily life. She brushed me off and said "Well I sent you to the neurologist nothing else I can do. It's been going on so long and you're still here so can't be that serious".
And she left it at that. She didn't even order blood work, not even the normal annual blood work you'd do.

Anyways, I'm at a loss and don't know what else i can do for myself. I drink tons of water, tried vitamins getting more sleep, more exercise etc and I'm still having these painful symptoms.
It may have started after my emergency c section as I mentioned above. She was born at 25 weeks when my son was 8 months old.
While my daughter was in the NICU I started smoking due to the stress and still smoke. I have often thought that could be contributing to the issue but the Dr said no.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on what this could be? Or what I could do to get a Dr to take me seriously?  I've seen more than 1. Thavks in advance !
