Weird Lump On left arm.. not very big... with ring.

My left arm has a lump on it.
I noticed it as a pimple but it grew and became very red.. now its not so red but has a ring around it.

It is not bleeding.. but it looks like it has a smaller dark circle in middle.

What could this be? i was just wondering... i am seeing a doctor on thursday for my lung infection.

Im scared this could be cancer.. and that my lungs really have cancer and it spread to my arm...

Please reply!!!

I live in alberta Canada... calgary if you want a specific place :P

i will definatly check back!!!

annndd if anyone knows.. can a bad back ( i mean previouslyripped mucles and pulled exc. and bad posture) effect your whole body... like leg painssss groin pains, arm pains just over all pains and a tight neck?

I ripped a mucle in back and chest when i was 13... and for the past 3 months ive had the WORST posture in the world.. seriously, i think a chiropractor would just stare at me if he knew how bad it was.

like.. lying down in a pushed forward office chair with my legs raised up past my head for 6 hours.

Please don't forget to do this, ticks can *sometimes* cause Lymes Disease.  If you catch it early, your doc can help you avoid the symptoms, and the rash will clear up.
Good luck, and please post back and let us know.
What area do you live in?

You seem quite afraid of cancer and that you might have some form of it.  You need to put your mind at rest.  Get a referral and see a gastroenterologist to get the gut checked out, get a endoscopic exam of the stomach and bowels done to see if anything is wrong from the stomach to the rectum. If you can afford it, get a whole body CT done to check the body from the brain to the toes for abscesses and cancer and tumors.  Most insurance won't pay for this exam. Have the doc to an EKG to check the heart or get a referral to have an ultrasound done of the heart, or get a treadmill test done to check yourself out.  Have a complete bloodworkup done with CBC, CHEM panel, urinalysis, Lipids with Homocysteine and C-Reactive protein, a TSH, free T-3 and a T-4 tests done.  Have a chest xray done to check up on the lungs.  Do a 24hour urine catch test done to check out the kidneys.  When all this is done, you should know for sure how you are doing and where to go from there.  Good luck.

You need to google (images) the phrase tick bite.  See if those pictures look anything like what you have.  It sounds very characteristic of some kind of insect bite.
Don't freak out--calm down--
Take a deep breath, and don't assume the worst about your situation.

This sounds like a case of ringworm, or possibly a deertick bite.  Neither are lung related or cancerous, but since your immunity is already compromised, either can be serious and will need immediate treatment.  See your regular doctor or a dermatologist for a proper diagnoses and treatment as soon as possible.

The doctor in my opinion.. was dumb.

I had breathing troubles for 2 months prior... and i JUST developed a cold. and he said it was a lung infection.

I also have chest/back pains... although i do i have a tight back with knots in the mucles...

My lymph's were swollen for about a month and since ive taken my antibiotics theyve gone down.. but the breathing still comes back.

Im kinda worried it is lung cancer.. and it spread to the skin.

Hes just a normal doctor.. i saw because i was worried and gave me a perscription.

I saw a doctor before but he said just get a blood test and im fine.

I've known several people with lung cancer and not one of them developed the type of skin condition you mentioned.  Is it hot too the touch and/or does it hurt?  It could be a boil or cyst of some sort.

Now back the lung doctor---is this a pulmonary doctor?  Is he/she treating you for a current infection?

I'd like to help you figure this out, but I need more info and maybe we can all put our heads together so we can put your mind at ease.
