Weird Symtoms.

For the past month and a half I've had weakness in my arms and legs. As far as I can tell there isn't any actual weakness I just feel weak for example the other day I just got down and did 45 push ups. For the past week or so I've been waking up a lot during the night and my legs and arms will be shaking lightly and usually I just have to move around or stretch and it goes away. Any ideas I've been to the ER and the doc for the weakness and they did a ton of blood work and all came back positive. I'm just tired of wondering what may be wrong with me. I'm 18 btw.

Did you figure out what was wrong? This seems exactly like me right now. It's been going on for almost 2 months.

The doc did some basic neuro tests and all came back fine. If it was MS would I actually ahve weakness or would I jsut feel weakness? Like I said I'm as strong as ever and I just feel weak a lot. They all think It's just a virus but idk and how long does it take for something like MS to progress? This all happened in a month and a half, withing two weeks it was really bad... is that too fast for MS? I'm also only 18. I've decided if I still have problems when school starts back up I'm getting another doc appointment.

Hi,
You mean the blood tests all came back negative for any signs of infection, blood disorders, etc.?  Perhaps you should see a neurologist. Sometimes the first signs of some neurological or neuromuscular disorder can be weakness. Have they checked you for MS?

Oh, the weakness kinda comes and goes. Its bad today but for the past three days I had no signs of it. The ER and Doc thinks its a virus but how long could it possibly last? A month and a half seems a stretch to me.
