What Can It Be?

I know its not my jaw but I hear a clicking and only when I walk, Could it be coming from my hips? My back? Some bone that moves as I walk? I have been hearing it for like 12 yrs now maybe 13. It is really anoying me and want to know who to see about this. What can be done to find out what it is or where its coming from and why? Its not everyday I hear it, and its not like you can hear it, only I can so I know is somewhere deep inside somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The clicking sound you hear while walking could be due to tinnitus or an abnormal sound in ear that is actually not there. It can happen even due to pressure changes in the ear. This can even be due to TMJ, however this will cause clicking even on opening the jaw. Please consult an ENT for this.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
