What is true shortness of breath?
I feel I have had s.o.b. for about a year.  I went to my GP and voiced my concerns and he checked my and did a chest x-ray.  It showed nothing, exam was normal.

My worst case scenario fear is PPH.  I also suffer from anxiety so I don't know if the s.o.b. is part of that.  Of course when I feel breathless I focus on it and it gets worse.

I can run up stairs and don't have fatigue but I have stopped exercising regularly in december because I was scared I was going to feel out of breath.

What is "true" shortness of breath? Where it's hard to take a breath and it's hard to talk?  Or is breathing heavy after exercising shortness of breath?
