What is wrong with me?

Hi,
I've been feeling generally ill for the past few months (since June). I feel 'better' now than I did throughout the summer, but still don't feel quite right.

I am a 30 year old female with no prior surguries, hospitalizations, serious illness, etc. I do have Hashimoto's disease / hypothyroidism. That is regulated by medication.

Here are ALL the problems I am still having:
- extreme fatigue
- weakness
- some minor GI disturbances (diarrhea one day, constipated the next)
- some nausea/vomiting
- tiny red pinpoint sized dots on my abdomen & chest (not many, about 12)
- anemia (doesn't seem to get to normal ever!)
- bruise easily & sometimes for no reason
- my right ear makes a 'popping' sound (only audible to me, but very annoying)
- achey muscles even if i haven't worked out

I know these are a lot of random, seemingly unrelated symptoms but if anyone has any ideas please let me know... Thank you! -C

One more thing...I missed what you said about Hashimotos. I also have Hashimotos, and it confuses test results when Drs are looking for anything pituitary. Don't let them focus on TSH results..they don't matter.

Many of your symptoms could be caused by pituitary problems. I had many of those symptoms before I was diagnosed hypopituitary: extreme fatigue/weakness/achiness (low growth hormone and thyroid), GI problems/nausea (llow adrenal), and so on are all controlled by the pituitary. See an Endocrinologist to rule out pituitary disorder.

Have you been checked for Celiac Disease?  Nearly all of your symptoms are found in Celiacs.  Check it out.  I had many of them myself.  Now that I'm on a gluten-free diet, they're all gone!

The red dots sound like petechia. (pa-tee'-kee-ya)
Petechia are small spots of bleeding under the skin, ranging from pinpoint to pinhead in size, and are even with the skin surface.

Babesiosis is a tick borne infection that can cause hemolytic anemia and petechia.
Babesiosis is caused by protozoa that infect the red blood cells.
Symptoms: Fatigue, night sweats, fever, chills, weakness, weight loss, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cough, shortness of breath, headache, neck and back stiffness, dark urine or blood in urine
