What specialist for costo

Someone on this board mentioned going to a specialist for costochondritis.  What specialist  would address this problem?   Have had it for some time, cold makes it worse.       Also have had to be evaluated for heart attack different times due to similarity of symptoms  Any info appreciated..   Margaret795

Costochondritis is a joint pain and ideally should be treated by an orthopedic specialist. However many internal medicine specialist also treat this condition. Since you have had it for a long time, I would suggest you see an orthopedic specialist.
