I had dry eyes and my doctor installed plugs on my tear ducks. Then I grew white bumps (tissues) on my tear duck. My eye doctor had to perform surgery on me to remove the foreign tissues and plugs. My eyes were aggergic to the plug material according to my eye doctor.
You need to see an eye medical doctor to have the white bump removed. It's a simple no pain surgery.
Take care of your eyes!
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You should consult an eye specialist for this. Warm compress, topical antibiotics and good person hygiene usually does the trick. Soak cotton balls in warm water to give warm compress. Avoid touching eyes and apply a local antibiotic.
Stye or hordeolum as it is medically called could be recurrent due to diabetes, recurrent touching of eye, poor hygiene, immunoglobulin M (IgM) deficiency, dry eyes, and chronic infection of eyelids. Other than that your tear gland could be infected. Please consult an eye specialist for treatment. Take care!
see your eye doctor. I also had the white bump on my eye and my eye doctor took it off, no anestetic. didn't hurt at all.
