Wierd dissapearing lumps under skin

Discoverd by accident, After moving my right hand from behind my head to down beside my body, i had some wierd lumps/bumps appear on top of my right shoulder, fairly dense to touch, some wavey up to 2.5 cm long some just round. Fairly uncumfortable but no major pain, a very freaky sensation. They dont seem to move like worms and they dont seem like veins just popping out.

They slowly dissapear when i pick my hand back up and rub the area, with slight discomfort in the area afterwards.

in the front rounded area above my under arm and below the top of the shoulder bone.....

I know the answer, simply dont do that movement! but i wanna know what it is and if its dangerous.... its certainly not right. I can not get this to happen on my left shoulder?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Then you should not worry too much. However do consult a good physiotherapist or a sports doctor and learn some exercises to help relax the shoulder girdle muscles.
Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
If you use your right shoulder a lot, then they could be just venous pooling of blood or lactic acid accumulation. Gently massaging the area will make them disappear. Also if you do shoulder exercises that will relieve the tension in those muscles, then these bumps will disappear. They could also be wheals or hives. However it is difficult to comment beyond this without examination. Do get them examined by a doctor.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
