abdominal issues

Obese woman with sudden onset of sharp/stabbing upper left abdominal pain, two locations on upper left side under rib. After a few weeks seems to be entire abdomen. Upper abdomen seems swollen on left and right sides under ribs. Abdominal cramping after eating. Abdominal cramping seems slightly relieved when taking mylanta. Upper abdominal itching that seems to be right below surface. tired. uncomfortable. pain levels 6. vegan diet. flatulence present. Constant feeling of pressure under left rib. All of this occurred right at the end of taking antibiotics for UTI. UTI occurred two weeks after miscarriage. Currently taking hypertension and hypothyroid medications. No fever, vomiting, diarrhea, blood in stool, yellowing of skin, weight loss, etc. What could this be?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
In all probability this is due to disturbance of gut flora. Take probiotics and see if they help. Other than that it can be severe acidity, food intolerance and IBS. Please consult a gastroenterologist regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!
