adrenal gland

I had a cat scan and the left adrenal glandthereis a hypodense mass involving the left kidney measuring appx.2.8x1.6cm could u  explain if this is something to follow up with what does the size of it have to with this thing?

Yes, you should follow this up, ASAP especially if you have symptoms. The size is important to monitor the lesion—whether it is growing or not. The origin of the mass is important—whether it’s a kidney mass or an adrenal mass.
