after my laparoscopy

Hello

Can anyone help me i had a laparoscopy 4 days ago to remove my Ovaries, once under the surgeon was shocked to find that i had severe bowel adhesions my ovaries was stuck to my bowel, the managed to remove my right ovary but the left ovary was much more tricky as this was stuck to my bowel, they managed to shave as much of the left ovary off but in doing thishad to perform a Laparotomy for perferating my bowel so a repair to my bowel was necessary. Two days after surgery i have managed to go to the toilet but have now developed severe abdominal crapping that leaves me doubled over in pain, i have noticed this is mainly after eating but last for hours and hours after this is happening more frequently now and i am starting to worry that something is more seriously wrong, any answers would be grateful. x

I would definetely go back to the physician who did your surgery. That is a very serious matter when dealing with removing ovaries and having to do surgical methods on your bowels as well... yes pain is to be expected with it being only 4 days but with the pain your having and it only happens after consuming food sounds a bit odd.... Seeking your physicians help and advice asap should be top priority to be on the safe side that nothing has been damaged or anything has come loose....
