bad pains in left leg/numbness in right leg

i am a female 39 yrs old. For the past couple of yrs i have been experiencing severe sharp pains in my left calve, but it seems when this happens its in the middle of the night while i am sleeping. The pain is so severe that i sit straight up and grab my leg cause the pain is so bad, then my foot will start twitching. Now i am experiencing numbness in my right calve with twitching. i do i have very high blood pressure. would this be the reasons for what i am feeling? Or could this be something else?
