Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Loss of balance can be due to inner ear problem, Meniere’s disease, diabetes    with peripheral sensory neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, affect of certain medications, past head injuries, loss of foot’s perceptions and sensibilities, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), joint weakness etc.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining and some more information. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Do let me know if there is any thing else and keep me posted. Take care!
