bump on forehead

I fell on my forehead resulted in huge bump. Never fully went away. Dident see a doctor for 2 years. Had surgery to have it removed they said it was nothing just a bump. So now i have a scar and still a bump what can i do?

Hey Junior!

Is this "bump" bone or soft tissue? I may have some suggestions for you. I am a Surgical First Assistant and have seen my share of bumps!

    There may be nothing you can do about it.  Sometimes our body will grow tissue around an injured area - even after having the extra tissue removed, sometimes it will grow back as the brain perceives it as still needing a cushion.
     I have a slight bump over my eyes from when I was little and bumped my forehead on the ashtray in our old car.   I used to feel it thinking I would grow a horn like a unicorn!! (silly kid)
     I have a friend who has a bump over her left eye as a result of a car accident.  It will always be there - She just combs her hair over it to avoid the questions and stares....
