bump under arm pit....sore
i have a small bump under the skin in my left arm pit.....it hurts to the touch and im just wondering it this is an allergy or what is goin on. its been sore for a couple weeks

Hi,
It is probably an enlarged and inflamed lymph node. Lymph nodes are small glands, which are present at various places in the body like in the neck and the armpits, and there job is to filter the blood of various infectious organisms that are circulating and in doing so they themselves may get enlarged and inflamed. I think you should consult a physician, as might need a short course of antibiotics/anti - inflammatory drugs to ease the pain and uneasiness.
