Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Well, strange though it may sound yes, it can. Exaggerated heart rate and high BP are often due to stress and an exaggerated vaso-vagal response in stress can cause cold or tingly arm and legs.
Cold and tingly arms and legs can also be due to peripheral vascular disease or disorder of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. Other causes of cold extremities are hypothyroidism, eating disorders like anorexia, Vit B12 deficiency, Addison’s disease, adrenal causes like pheochromocytoma, anemia, Buerger’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome and Raynaud’s disease. You will need some tests like treadmill test, color Doppler, angiography, ultrasonography and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).
Again high pulse is seen in anemia, hyperthyroidism, fever, low blood sugar, anxiety and panic disorder, heart causes like sinus tachycardia and palpitations, alcohol, coffee, effect of certain drugs etc.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
