chest pains with itching and numbness
I am 25 years old and have been having these sharp pains in my chest on the left side under my breast I also have had numbness in my left arm and neck pains I also have been itching every where since I have had theses pains in my chest I also have shortness of breath I went to the doctor she said it was just allergies making me have pains in my chest but I know its not I am very scared because my sister just passed away from a heart attack I just want to know what could be making me feel this way with all theses symptoms...this has been going on for days and each day I get another symptom please help me better understand whats going on
If you can't get your primary physician to order these tests, you should find a new primary care physician. Those tests are common sense diagnostics when someone complains of chest pain. If you don't want to wait to establish care at another physicians office, then go to the ER/ED..they will do blood work and perform the needed EKG to rule out any cardiac pathology! Good luck!
No EKG no blood work and they never test me for gall bladder problems it hurts so bad I can't sleep
also, if it was a heart attack, it wouldnt go on for days that way. you should ask her about doing a gall bladder ultrasound or a hida scan!
you never answered the question about an ekg and blood work to look at muscle damage. it's called troponin and a cpk
I hope not gull bladder cuz that's what caused my sister heart attack she had surgery for her gull bladder and next day died
Did you have bloodwork and an EKG done? If not then she can't say for certain that it's just your allergies bothering you. But, if you did have those things done, then it could also be anxiety about your sister passing from a heart attack. I'm sure that has to be weighing on your mind lots, and even if it is just allergies that are attacking, you could also have some gastric reflux or gall bladder symptoms, since both of those things can create chest pains and the feeling of having a heart attack.
