chronic inflamation at left carotid artery

i m a 43 yr old lady with complaints of 7/8 episodes of blackouts(each blackouts last for 2 to 3 seconds)since 16.07.2010.it was told that i have LEFT PARAPHARYNGEAL FIBROSIS AND NON SPECIFIC CHRONIC INFLAMMATION which is non malingnant in nature but is non opertable.Only a part of is cut out for biopsy.But still i feel pain at the back of my head or uneasiness and a tendency to fall again. I can not tolerate any tension or heavy household work.Now i m running in future uncertanities.Please render me any useful idea.

I hope that the biopsy wouldn't cause these symptoms!  Since they said it was in-operable, I suspect they didn't take as much with the biopsy as what would be needed for symptom relief.   I hope, rini, you can ask the second opinion doctor if there is any thing you should be taking for the inflammation they found.

Maybe you are still healing from the process.  You u be holding your head in the wrong angles for too long periods.   I have a sister in law from New delia india.  You should be well covered as for the good medical care.  India has lots of great physicians.

I would recommend getting a second opinion from a highly experienced, well-schooled head and neck doctor as to whether or not the the parapharyngeal fibrosis is indeed something that cannot be operated on.  It's generally good to get a second opinion, if you go to another doctor with many years of experience, highly trained.  I hope you are also able to have a full-time helper in your home to care for you and your house work!
