Hi.. I know how to be in pain always.. I hav some of those pain ur havin like the upper right groin pain ( mine was just above it ), lower back or tailbone pain and others that I try so hard to ignore since I am scared of taking pain killers, even prescribed by drs. I had hernia before, having that groin pain on both sides and was operated on after a few test proved it positve by a laparoscopic specialist. I did a pelvic sonogram, negative, and yet my pelvic area is always in pain, on and off. I dont know anymore what test to take since all gynecologic exams and test were done and proved negative to know where this lower abdominal pain come s from ( pain similar to what I had before I had my ovary with cyst was taken out).
If u can consider having hernia test, before ruling it out as one of the causes
Good day!! Im a married woman ,33 yrs old and i have 4 kids.2002 I had tubal ligation. I experinced this chronic pain in the right lower quadrant about a year ago. I went to my OB and had a Transvaginal ultrasound .We found out that I have an Endometriosis. The Dr. told me to take pain reliever before my menstrual period. As the year goes by the pain also come and go. Until 3 weeks ago that the pain did not subside.I went back to my Ob and had Trans V again. She told me that my endometriosis was gone. I done total abdominal ultrasound last week. The result was all normal.I've done CBC and urinalysis also. The Dr. told me that I had UTI so she prescribed me with antibiotics but my CBC was also normal.I did not experience any changes in my body except that this pain in my abdomen did not go away. I really dont want to undergo any procedure anymore. I want to have MRI or CT scan. To found out what's really wrong with my abdomen. Is this a good decision??? Please help!!
P.S. As I typing this.... Im in terrible pain. God Bless!!

The colonoscopy would rule out many of the major lower GI disorders.
You can consider things like a hernia, groin strain, endometriosis, or problems with the appendix.
Imaging would be a reasonable next step - this can be done with an abdominal/pelvic CT scan. An MRI can also be considered if the test is non-revealing.
If the pain continues, a referral to a physiatrist (rehabilitation MD) can be considered to further look at the hip joint and consider musculoskeletal causes.
If endometriosis is considered, a referral to a gynecologist can be done to evaluate for this possibility.
These options can be discussed with your personal physician.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
