well prune juice is always recommended but never works for me. warmed apple juice does. Per drs orders increase fruits, veggies and whole grains. also, water consumption is important. You can become dependant on laxatives so try to adjust your diet and if necessary use a stool softener. See a dr for sure if you have pain or this is a consistent problem. Perhaps they can hook you up w/ a nutritionist.

First thing in the morning, before you eat or drink anything, drink a juice-sized glass of prune juice. Do this every morning until you feel your normal self again. Hope you feel better soon!
...Don't get too excited and drink too much, unless you've got the day off! LOL
