Hi

Coreg CR is a pressure lowering medicine having protective action on the heart. I am not sure what you were diagnosed with—only high BP, or hypertension with heart attack, or heart failure or a combination of these.
This medication is generally taken life long unless advised by your doctor against it. Your heart and pressure are normal thanks to the medication. In my opinion you should not stop them without consulting your cardiologist.

Hope this helps. If you need more help, please feel free to contact. I’ll be happy to answer your queries.
