dizziness, tongue feels strange, fatigue

Thank you in advance for listening and trying to help.  I have had intense muscle aches in my upper arms for several weeks.  My shoulder was also hurting quite a bit. My fingers starting tingling and I was also very tired.  My doc sent me for an xray of my neck - and it showed some disc degeneration and a bit of arthritis.  I've been taking advil and the arms have started to feel better but they are still achy - it's like a bad bad flu.  In addition, my throat hurts and I've had congestion, but I'm so used to the throat and congestion, as I have allergies, that I hardly pay attention. My fingers and feet have been tingling, as has the side of my face.  My tongue feels so weird,  Not really numb, but almost like when you eat too many sour candies -- kind of raw on the tip.  I feel so tired and upset.  I feel dizzy and lightheaded, and I'm almost too afraid to see a doctor again.. I get migraines, and eight yrs ago then again 4 years ago I had complete workup for tingling in my body, mostly left sided, and doc said it was migraines.  Those migraines lasted 4 weeks each time.  I kind of figured out on my own that maybe the tingling / migraines were triggered by allergies.  Once I got the allergies under control, I seemed to get the migraines under control.  So, I guess it's odd that I'm having the tingling again mostly left sided, but this tongue sensation is so weird and upsetting.  And, I dont remember feeling this fatigued before.  I just feel terrible.   I should also mention that each time I had the workups done for the migraines, I had some sinus issue so part of me wonders if sinuses are playing a part.  Anyway, I've been worrying myself nuts on the internet and I've become so depressed on it. I see ms, tumor, lupus, etc... I usually run every day, four miles, but haven't been able for weeks.  Any thoughts or help is so much appreciated. Thank you-

Could you have been exposed to Lyme Disease?  You don't have very many symptoms, but Lyme could be a cause (except for the disc degeneration.)

Was it just an xray that was done, or did they do MRI or ct scan to get a better look at nerves and such. A lot of it sounds like nerve damage. The sinus symptoms and such may be some type of infection that you are getting and causing inflammation. And inflammation can cause nerve problems to worsen due to the swelling. I would definitely go back to the doctor, especially since it has been going on so long and because it is affecting the way you live. Anytime your quality of life is limited, you should continue to go to the doctors, be persistent, make them realize that you KNOW something is wrong! Good luck!
