ear problem

Recently several times a day I get a feeling of cold fluid running through my ears. No drainage just a feeling. Along with this I feel pressure from the inside out. Not much pain just pressure. Went to Otolaryngologist who gave me a prescription for Flonase which did not help and burned my nostrils. Called him and was advised that he had "looked" in my ears and found nothing, and to discontinue the Flonase. Anyone had this problem.
