enlarged lymph nodes, enlarged spleen, headache

My husband has been suffering from a severe constant headache for abouut 4 months. He also had a onset of high blood pressure that has not been able to be controlled by medication. Other symptoms include night sweats, nausea, tightness in chest, tingling in hands, shakes at times and trouble sleeping, chronic pain. He has has had 2 Ekgs, A CAT scan and MRI of his head, stress test, several blood work ups, lyme disease test, mono test 2x, Hep test 2x, HIV test, Lupus  and seveal other blood test at an infectious disease center that I am unsure of. ALL came back NORMAL. He does not drink or use any drugs. Over two weeks ago he had a CAT scan from his head to his pelvic area, this showed all his lymph nodes to be enlarged and his spleen to be enlarged. His doctor said he had a whole body problem and would have to under go more testing, we have no idea what this means and have not heard back, though we have left a message. We obviously are unsure and concerned and need direction on how to persue this. Should we sit back and wait or does this sound serious?

I too am having spleen enlargement and lymph nodes. My throat is achy and swollen and I feel terrible. Headaches, back ache, my ribcage and left side(spleen) are killing me. Just got over bronchitis and they thought I had strep twice over this 6 week period that this has been going on. My doctor did a mono test and the bloodwork showed negative along with the EBV. It just showed that at some point in my life I have had Mono, but not now. I feel horrible and have yet to be diagonsis with anything.

Sorry I guess the mono was ruled out....this also come to think about it sounds like maybe anxiety. The arm and leg tingling and HA could be attributed to this, but the lymp and spleen enlargement have me puzzled. In my clinic the doc would at least perscribe xanix just to take the edge off his anxiety of a illness so he could focus a little. I sure hope you find an answer for him. Take care

Could be Mono...alot of the same symptoms (IE lymphnode enlargement, spleen enlargement, HA ECT) this last 3 months for me and it was aweful. Have they done an Epson-barr screen?.
Stay away from internet diagnosis though i will tell you that because its always bad news I swear, but this sounds like mono to me!
