fainting issues

I am an active healthy 26 year old and have never had any issues with my health, other than the regular, but in the past month I have experienced some weekends where I have come close to fainting but have not yet actually fainted. I thought the first few times may have been hydration and not enough sleep due to having drinks with friends. But I have been told excuses like iron deficiency and so on, but recently I was fine again, for about a month, until this past weekend where it has happened again about 6 times in one day, i'm not sure what to expect from my doctor since I have no idea. I have recently been taking multivitamins for active women and exercising regularly so i'm not sure what the issue may be except not being able to get enough oxygen into my brain due to asthma. hopefully this site may help me out

Another good thing to check out is potential pregnancy. That can sometimes cause fainting/near-fainting spells. I'm not saying this is your issue. Just saying it's something simple that has the potential to cause the symptoms.

Probably everything is fine BUT you need to see a cardiologist.  Have you ever had an EKG or stress test?  I am an ER nurse and we take it very seriously when someone presents with near syncope (fainting) especially upon exertion.  An EKG is a quick non-invasive test that lets the doctor see how your heart ventricles are pumping.  I would also strongly suggest that if it happens again - just go to the emergency room.  You have already ruled out the common culprits like hydration.  And if you really were that iron deficient that needs to be treated also. Please follow up.  Good luck

Anemia is one possibility, not necessarily due to iron deficiency. Simple dehydration is another. The lab tests for anemia are very inexpensive and definitive.
