fever, cough, headache, eye pain

I developed a slight cough a couple days ago that turned into a high fever and headache. Now I am coughing up phlegm, have no appetite but I'm not nausious and it hurts to move my eyes around. Is this just the Flu or is it a respiratory infection?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It is difficult to comment on net, but you could be having bronchitis or pneumonia or even a viral fever.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Meanwhile you can take an OTC anti-inflammatory and do warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day. Drinking warm lemonade, hot clear soups and herbal tea may soothe the throat/cough considerably.
Hope this helps. Take care!
