MRSA is a pretty bad infection and can really "bring you down".  Try taking a magnesium supplement.  Depression, fatigue, muscle spasms, apathy, are some symptoms of magnesium defiency.  If that is your problem, try taking about 300-400mg/day.  You will see results within 1-3 days.  If you have no improvement within a week, that it not your problem.  You can also go to the search engine Ask.com and put in "Magnesium and fatigue".

No.  Magnesium levels are a special test.  Few doctors even think about it.  Magnesium is a water-soluable electrolyte generally sufficient in the diet, but when a person has been very ill, or hasn't eaten well, or on a high protein diet for a while, Magnesium gets low and you will get symptoms such as yours. I don't know that Magnesium is your problem, but it is a cheap and easy thing to check either by your doctor or by taking a supplement for a few days.
