headaches

i have frequent headaches latley, i am 51 in good shape in early menopause, eat healthy,run 1 hr/day, but my blood pressure was 131/91{standing and drank diet soda prior to this} i am concerned, i lost my mom of 79 to heart deasise i am concerned about these symptoms, my dad has an over active thyroid and my 26 yr. old daughter has recently been diagnoised w/same... i have not been to a dr. in 12 yrs., i do not believe in medicines other than herbs... can u suggest what is wrong?????IS THIS BLOOD PRESSURE READING A CONCERN?????

Do you drink diet sodas often?  Do you use artificial sweeteners in coffee, etc?  Headache is the number one symptom related to aspartame ingestion.... but there are many others too.
