help on body odor

Hi, I'm a 19 year old student and I've had problems with fishy body odor since grade school. The smell only becomes noticable when I perspire and only when I perspire. I smell alright before and after sweating. I've read about fish odor syndrome on the internet and so far the people who have it seem to have the odor on 24/7. I have good hygeine and my bloodwork/ urine is normal. My apt also seems to have this smell although strangely enough my bedroom smells fine. I have searched this website and I couldn't find relevant information so I'm asking for help.

Is my odor due to fish odor syndrome or my environment?
