hip pops

i am only 15, almost 16 and a little while back in basketball i started to noticed after games or gymclass at school my left side hip was sore, i walk and place my hand on that side and it pops sort of, it does this almost all the time however it only bugs me (as in pain) after i weight lift or have practice. My friends parent said it could be something with a tendon. what do you think?

My daughter (20) has something called Sacarylliac Disease, diagnosed by a Chiropractor. Her hip joint and her buttocks bother her from time to time. She worked in a department store for 6 months while standing constantly.  Also, she played basketball when she was younger, softball for one year as Catcher which probably contributes to the pain.

Lots of young people have loose joints. This is not uncommon, and does not mean there is anything wrong. If you are really concerned though, just ask your parents to take you to the Dr.
