Hi
Welcome again to the MedHelp forum!
There is a hughe possibility that since you are under so much stress, you also have acidity. This could be associated with GERD. GERD can often cause a wooshing sound in the ears and can be heard in both ears. Also a pulsatile sound can be heard in both ears in high BP. Increased blood flow as seen in anemia and hyperthyroid state can also cause pulsatile tinnitus in both ears. I have enumerated the causes to you before. The other causes like carotid kinking, fistulas, etc can be in one ear only. Bilateral carotid kinking and clots are possible too. Hence a carotid dopplar should be done. Other than that only your ENT can tell you what rare disease he is talking about.
If stomach pain is associated with diarrhea/constipation/gas then inflammatory bowel conditions like IBS, Crohn’s, celeiac, lactose intolerance etc will have to be ruled out.
I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
When you say stomach- do you mean your literal stomach, that organ located near your heart on the left side, or do you mean your abdomen stomach. If you mean your abdomen, what portion of your abdomen hurts- upper right, lower right, upper left or lower left?
I think I have occasionally heard a pulse in my ear(s) before, so that's interesting about it being rare according to the doc you saw. Did they explain what might cause this rare phenomenom?
