i dont know whats going on,pains, weakness, foggy brain

i been going through alot for the last 8 months

i was feeling, weak tired and sleepy for a week, thought it was flu comming, anyways, one morning after a few days i started having breathing problems and felt faint, drs said it maybe iral and panic attakcs and left me to it, i fainted once, i remember my body was ever so weak and i felt the need to eat to get alittle energy ack even though my entire body flt as if it was losing feeling and weak. I had noticed in the summer it made it worse, especially the shortness of breath, maybe more on the panick attack side. i dont suffer from hay fever or allergies.

afte this, the symptoms that have remained till today 8 months later

body aches, muscles are weak, brain fog, stomach issues such as bloating, intermittant pain,
get out of breath when i walk, cant get up feel soo weak and tired, dizzy, eyes are watery and seem inflamed.
hot flushes, its affected my life, i cant get out, when i walk i feel like im going to faint, legs are ever so weak,
i have been drs a few times,

was told its depression, anti depressants haven't helped at all,
my liver enzymes have been elivated for years, im negative for all hep viruses, was later shown as fatty liver, but it became fatty only a year ago so the elivated ALT remains a mystery, will be seeing a hepatologist soon about this.

the other blood tests that have been done are:
fbc, clotting profile
u+e,
fasting glucose
alpha-1-at
immunoglobulins, ferritin
tTG,autoantibodies
these were checked was tld everyhtings fine when i seent he specialist who requested for them
thyroid has been checked
chelestrol was fine

had a ct scan of the head few months ago, refered to a neurologist who checked me phscally and said im fine and its depression and migranes, but sent me for a head scan just incase and i was dischsarged. the results hadnt been sent to my GP surgery, was advised by GP they should be fine as if they were not i would have been called in.
.................

i am suffering still, i just need some help and info on this,
what can i get checked? what blood tests can i ask for? anything i can do to cross out any ilnesses related to what i am experiencing. I read on a post to get ESR and CPR tests done, would this be somthing i could ask GP to do?

please somone help me, its just so hard to live a life which everyday feels like a dream full of pains and aches

thanks

mike

Please type fibromyalgia into google - I was diagnosed with it 5 years ago and spent years stressing over my symptoms.

Many of his symptoms are under control with medication, but they can't get his nausea under control.  They are still trying new medications, different dosages, trying their best to help him.

With medication, many people get some relief.  Some people it is a life long issue, while others it may go away entirely.  Teenagers have the best chance at a full recovery, so since my son is only 15 we are hoping that one day it will just be gone. (he has not been to school in over a year).  They diagnosed him with the Tilt Table Test.

hi

i had a look into that, its one of those illnesses that are hard to diagnose, this one seems to show that normaly it reolves in a few years, so i have hope if it was dysautonomia to recover, there isn't a cure for it, is your son better now? or is it simply treat the symptoms?

Read up on dysautonomia.  It sounds like most of your symptoms are there.  A good website is  www.dinet.org

My son has it and it took us 3 years to finally get the right diagnosis.

no, but i have read that bacteria can cause simular symptoms, sugar is meant to make it worse, probiotics and the diet is what helps in that situation i believe.

its funny you mentioned adrenal gland function, because i used to do alot of running and weight lifting, i have tried doing this again but i dont get the adrenaline rush that i get, it just feels burnt out, not in my legs or arms, the pumped feeling when you exercise also the cramps of the lactic acid production, can't seem to get that, just get exhausted.

is it possible i could have stressed soo much at the beginig with panic attacks cauing adrenal gland function problems?
it almost sounds perfect, but the eye inflamation i had, which i am getting treated for with floaters, can't seem to find a match for that.

thanks

its been ever soo long, but original symptoms i recall, were,

i had my left eye lid drooping
i thought it must be a circulating issue, i started doing weight lifting that night, it still remained droopy the next day, so i did a good heavy running exercise, the next morning i woke up with tingling feeling on my right arm and legs, also face, and very weak on the right side, dizzyness, brainfog and also eye pain came a few days or so after.
I had a  headache on the right side which was not an ordinary type was a heavy, hot blocked feeling on the right, thats why i found it hard to tolerate heat. My symptoms all began in one day out of the blue.

my bloodpressure was very low, lower then normal, its normally 120/80 but it went to the 90/70 back then, also when i went hospital, they gave me buscuits twice as my blood sugar was very very low.

i've stopped smoking and drinking after this now.

somone mentioned corotid artery test, could this possibly be a cause?

i have a history of heart dasease, strokes, high blood pressure in my family also many digestive issues.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You must get kidney function tests done, adrenal gland function assessed, parathyroid gland function assessed, check the level of Vit B12 and electrolytes in the body and consider fibromyalgia and panic disorder as a diagnosis too.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do discuss these options with your doctor and get the tests recommended. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
