Please type fibromyalgia into google - I was diagnosed with it 5 years ago and spent years stressing over my symptoms.
Many of his symptoms are under control with medication, but they can't get his nausea under control. They are still trying new medications, different dosages, trying their best to help him.
With medication, many people get some relief. Some people it is a life long issue, while others it may go away entirely. Teenagers have the best chance at a full recovery, so since my son is only 15 we are hoping that one day it will just be gone. (he has not been to school in over a year). They diagnosed him with the Tilt Table Test.
hi
i had a look into that, its one of those illnesses that are hard to diagnose, this one seems to show that normaly it reolves in a few years, so i have hope if it was dysautonomia to recover, there isn't a cure for it, is your son better now? or is it simply treat the symptoms?
Read up on dysautonomia. It sounds like most of your symptoms are there. A good website is www.dinet.org
My son has it and it took us 3 years to finally get the right diagnosis.
no, but i have read that bacteria can cause simular symptoms, sugar is meant to make it worse, probiotics and the diet is what helps in that situation i believe.
i have a personal do you or have you performed oral sex if so do you remember swollowing any of her bodily fluids, its a question that is been on my mind about my boy friend hes been feeling alot like you.so i wonder can he have consumed like a bacteria or yeast? maybe? maybe it all in my head, well if you can id like to hear what you have to say.
its funny you mentioned adrenal gland function, because i used to do alot of running and weight lifting, i have tried doing this again but i dont get the adrenaline rush that i get, it just feels burnt out, not in my legs or arms, the pumped feeling when you exercise also the cramps of the lactic acid production, can't seem to get that, just get exhausted.
is it possible i could have stressed soo much at the beginig with panic attacks cauing adrenal gland function problems?
it almost sounds perfect, but the eye inflamation i had, which i am getting treated for with floaters, can't seem to find a match for that.
thanks
mike
its been ever soo long, but original symptoms i recall, were,
i had my left eye lid drooping
i thought it must be a circulating issue, i started doing weight lifting that night, it still remained droopy the next day, so i did a good heavy running exercise, the next morning i woke up with tingling feeling on my right arm and legs, also face, and very weak on the right side, dizzyness, brainfog and also eye pain came a few days or so after.
I had a headache on the right side which was not an ordinary type was a heavy, hot blocked feeling on the right, thats why i found it hard to tolerate heat. My symptoms all began in one day out of the blue.
my bloodpressure was very low, lower then normal, its normally 120/80 but it went to the 90/70 back then, also when i went hospital, they gave me buscuits twice as my blood sugar was very very low.
i've stopped smoking and drinking after this now.
somone mentioned corotid artery test, could this possibly be a cause?
i have a history of heart dasease, strokes, high blood pressure in my family also many digestive issues.
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You must get kidney function tests done, adrenal gland function assessed, parathyroid gland function assessed, check the level of Vit B12 and electrolytes in the body and consider fibromyalgia and panic disorder as a diagnosis too.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do discuss these options with your doctor and get the tests recommended. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
forgot to add, i get nausia quite abit too,
