interesting symptoms

For the past 3 days now i have had a fever and its been giving me chills and making me very achy. it hurts to just move my neck. One person told me it was just a virus. i have had a cough here and there but not that much. its also been giving me headaches. I don't really know what it is but would greatly appreciate if someone had some sort of an idea.

Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If with fever and chills it hurts to move your neck, please consult a doctor ASAP to rule out meningitis. Other than that it can also be a viral infection. However it is difficult to comment on net. The neck pain should be investigated.
