I imagine that at this moment in time the doctor suspects that there is a fracture.
An xray would show the extent of damage to the bone.
I am surprised that the doctor has not referred you to go to the hospital as a matter of urgency to get this treated appropriately and quickly.
With a Boxer's fracture, he would not be able to "buddy tape" the fingers together. In fact, that would put the hand in a non-anatomical position for healing. A Boxer's fracture is a break in the metacarpal bone usually of the 5th finger from the knuckle leading down to the wrist. Casting is often applied and in severe cases surgery is needed. The fingers are usually left slightly bent in a natural anatomical position during healing and elevation is encouraged since swelling is usually severe.
Do let us know if you have a splint on. If not, please seek immediate treatment for it.
It will probably take a while for you to get to see a specialist, so in the meantime do not clench your hand.
Keep the finger straight and strap it to the next good finger. You can do this by putting a plaster around the bad and good finger. Most finger problems are dealt with in this way to help to immobilise the finger to let it heal. You can take pain relief as directed on the packet if you hurting a lot.
Your profile says that you are 114 years old - congratulations a very ripe old age! :)
If you are still at school, it may be a good idea to avoid sports so as not to damage the finger any more.
Best wishes.
Did the doctor put your hand in some kind of immobilizer in the meantime? You shouldn't be moving it around. You should also be elevating it to reduce the swelling. That is good that you are going to a specialist, but I a concerned if you are immobilized now and if you have normal sensation to your finger tips.
i went to docter and he said its cracked he gonna send me to specialist
It sure appears that you have indeed broken your knuckle. I would have it looked at as soon as possible.
im wondering what are the treatments
You may have broken your hand, what's called a boxer's fracture. You need to go to the emergency department for treatment. Do not delay.
