itching bones

My daughter complains of feeling  like her bones are itching. It is in her back part of the leg.

Thanks for the post!

Normally one cannot feel the bone itch! However it’s just her expression. It could be due to dry skin, a rash, a thrombus in a vein, an insect bite, an abscess, infection of skin (cellulitis), eczema, dermatitis, hook worm infection, lymph vessel infection or just a growing up pain.

Please examine the back of her leg to see if you can spot anything. Otherwise please consult a doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
