left temple pain

hwe
I have been getting a sudden snaping pain in and around my left temple that causes headaches. That has happened around 4 times in the last couple of weeks but I have pretty much had a constant dull head ache most of the time. I also feel dizzy, fatigued all the time and feel that I am out of it often. I dont want to go to the doctors because I think I sound like a hypochondriac but it is starting to worry me a little. Is this anything to be worried about?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
No, please do not feel that way and consult a doctor. Headaches and pain in temple area can be due migraine. Tension headaches due to stress too affect the temple area.
Temporal arteritis, internal ear infection, TMJ and tooth decay can all cause a temple pain.
Infection in the eye, glaucoma, near and far sightedness and sinusitis are the other causes.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

Hi could be a migrane attack or a cluster headache. See the doctor if the symptoms continue as it could be due to an underlying condition.
