along with a whole list of other problems, i also recently experience some really weird visual things. i was walking around in side my house when all of a sunned my eyes fogged over for a quick second then returned to normal, kind of how your glasses fog when you come in from the cold, it has happened several times and really scares me, i keep thinking that i may be imagining it, but i doubt it. I also have symptoms similair to MS but have not been told that I have it. I would love to know what this all means.

I had a friend that would lose his vision upon occasion. He was not getting enough oxigen to his brain due to his heart not functioning correctly. I don't know if that is what you have going on, but I would have an EKG done just do make sure. They are quick test & painless.

hi there. I get sort of the same thing. Mine is very often. Sometimes all day long. The lights in a grocery store are really bad....they make things look weird around you and like you can't really see or something. Then I feel dizzy or lightheaded like i am going to pass out or something. then it makes me anxious and have heart palps...so on. It happens while i am driving as well. The docs all tell me anxiety too. Hard to believe huh? I keep thinking it is heart related or something But i had a chest x-ray, ekg's and wore a holter monitor for 24 hours (all negative). It just is very scary and I wish it would go away. It all started for me about a year ago when I had a really scary medical scare. I thought i was dying and it turned out i had hyperthyroidism. Ever since then I have been having really bad vertigo/anxiety/lightheadedness/brain fog.....headaches....sinus infections. Sometimes it gets better for a few weeks and seems to go away (almost) but then it comes back. Wish i knew for sure what was causing this.

Sorry this is so long------
This is my personal experience. I too dealt with this. Not while drinking cola but bright lights in grocery stores would set me off. That was a couple years ago. It would start with flickering lights around everything. Then the sweats. I couldn't look at anyone without these flickers around them.  I would either get tunnel vision or perifial vision. It was scary. I also would have to pull off the road. You cant drive if you cant see it. Scary ****.
Personally I was under alot of stress (bad relationship) and the Dr. said mine was "visual ?halucenation? migranes with no headaches assocciation".???
He told me I was causing myself more stress from worring about what was going on which was causing me to stress harder and inadvertently cause it to happen again. A vicious circle. At one point I lost total vision in both eyes. I was totally blind for about 10 minutes. One of the scariest 10 minutes I recall. It wasn't black like I would have thought - it was white. A wall of white was in front of me.
Thank God I haven't dealt with that in a while. Now it's the headaches. The pressure headaches.
If I may suggest one thing. This is not about your eyes but your ears. Go get your hearing tested. I sell hearing aids & do hearing tests free of charge. You can get your hearing tested at no charge in most areas. If something were to happen, you would have a copy of your test for comparison.
My sister had a bad migrane for 3 days - when it was gone she had lost her hearing but we had nothing to compare it to. Her's is due to meniere's.
Good luck.
