Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You did not have blindness literally, but suffered from episode of blackout and this could be due to postural hypotension (falling with change of position), internal ear problems, cervical spondylitis, anemia, GERD, hypoglycemia or low sugar and some endocrine problems. I think you should discuss this with your doctor. Get your blood pressure checked.
This also looks like an episode of transient ischemic attack wherein the blood supply to brain is temporarily cut off. The episodes last for a maximum of 24 hours and then resolve or a new symptom starts. Please consult a neurologist. You will need to undergo a MRI of the brain.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Well my husband had the same thing. His was Bartonella (Commonly known as catscratch fever) he lost vision in his eyes for a while, grey skin and a feeling of panic when theres nothing to panic about (fast then slow heartbeat and then just rested heartbeats)....I actually have my CNA license and I really think you should consult a MD about this....vision loss could be caused by something far worse then bartonello....
