low blood pressure - lightheadedness, dizzy... blood work so far normal

I am a 32 yr old female. For about 7 weeks now I have been experienc'n nausea, headaches, lightheadedness, dizzy spells. I have been to the doctor and emergency room several times. I was prescribed flagyl for 10 days and had awful side effects. Now- 10 days off of the nasty drug I am still experiencing side effects- after going back 2 the doctor I was told I have extremely low blood pressure- if standing 2 long(over 5 minutes) I feel faint. I was prescribed Meclizine for the nausea as phenegen did not work. The doctor wanted to redo a cbc that came back fine 2 weeks ago. Also, my liver kidney functions are fine, thyroid is normal, electrolites normal, Not sure why I am so lightheaded... any thoughts out there?

A little more info if it helps- I am a vegetarian and lost 26 pounds since this whole thing has started. I drink 2-3 liters of water a day. the flagyl wrecked me... I am also now on an antacid to relieve some stomach pain and nystatin for thrush. Never will take flagyl again. please help with some thoughts or suggestions... kinda at a lose here and need to get back to work. thanks.

Thank you for all your help. I was contacted by a toxicologist from poison control and told I had toxic levels of flagyl in my system. They think the low blood pressure is related to not eating or being able to keep fluids in. It will take up 2 -  4 months to get all the toxions out of my system..... thanks again for all your help and good luck.

My cardiologist ordered it and it was done at a Hospital it
was not a big ordeal they just check your pulse and blood
pressure while you are strapped to a table in the upright
position.  I think your primary can order it.  Good luck.

I had the same thing happen to me I was prescribed fludrocortisone after a tilt table test was performed.  It has
helped alot.  Although I am not feeling 100% I am better.  The
diagnosis was postural hypotension (drop in blood pressure when
standing).  Good luck.
