low heart rate with high blood pressure

I am a 44 year old woman, in realtively good health.  Last april I had a gatric sleeve, I have lost 80 pounds in the last year.  In march of this year I had my galbladder out.  Thru everything I have always had blood pressure that is perfect like 127/72.
At the end of april I had a near fainting episode, went to emergency room, my blood pressure was 155/100, and my pulse was only 44.  It stayed that low for quit awhile, about a week and half.  I  have been to more olyoligist, in the past month and half then ever before.  caridiologist said low rate is a symptom and not a cause, and my heart is beating perfect just slow.  Endochronolgist said thyroid is working correctly except they found a small goiter.
Other thing I have not lost any weight in 3 months no matter how much I eat or don't eat.  I exercise regualrly, play soccer at least once a week.  Walk/run two to four times a week.  I eat regualry, do not drink coffee, only drink alcolhol infreaquently.
The doctor told me to go back to live and call them if it happens again.  Well it did, 2 days ago, I was at work again, had another incident this time the only new syptom was cold sweats, I was sweating profusly for about 15 minutes.
The day after the bad incidents I feel like I have been run over by a truck, and am really tired.  It will take me a few days to feel normal again.
They can not find any reason and I am tired and frustrated.
I appreciate any ideas.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Yes, bradycardia can be dangerous especially if it due to a failing heart, arrhythmia, degenerative myopathy, heart attack, or due to a valve disease. This could be the reason for dizziness as if the heart rate is very slow then there is not enough supply of oxygen to brain. Non cardiac causes can be drug or alcohol abuse, hypothyroidism, electrolyte imbalance, prolonged bed rest, and autoimmune disease. If indeed you have a resting heart rate of 50 or below, please get this checked ASAP. Serum electrolytes are often the cause, and hence get this evaluated first.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Take care!
