lump in leg veins

I have veins that have appeared to be vericose-not diagnosed. Yesterday two hard lumps formed and they are painful to touch and painful when I stand. They are located on the inside of my lower leg about three inches abov e the ankle bone.  Could they be blood clots and what type of doctor would I see for treatment--they are quite painful.

Yes the two lumps can be clots due to deep vein thrombosis. You will need a dopplar or angiogram for confirmation. You’ll have to consult a vascular specialist for this.
