Could be an ingrown hair. I had one on my left cheek. It was hard, red, and very painful.
If it is anything like a boil- I get them ALL THE TIME! I do not know why and they can be very painful. What works for me is taking a bath with entire bottle of Peroxide- it helps them get smaller. Then lots of warm washrags and then a heavy dose of neosporin. Within 2-3 days they are usually gone. I wish I knew why I get them so often, but this remedy has helped me for years. good luck!
i have had one of those before, and it was painful. i don't know how i caught it or what it is, but it disappeared after a few days. i made sure to sanitize the bath tub before taking a bath and also washed my hands before contact with any intimate part of my body. am also extra careful when using public bathrooms.
