navel pain

by scipio, Dec 18, 2006 12:00AM
I've experienced navel pain for 4 mos.; hurts when up and moving (bending/stretching), lessens with relaxation. CT scan w/contrast showed nothing. ER doctor diagnosed as abdominal strain/muscle tear from swimming. Only outward symptoms are white skin in navel. Does this diagnosis seem plausible and do these muscle problems take this long to heal? Is it time for a second opinion? Thanks.
