neck pain, down

Hello. I just had an MRA on my carotid, and a MRI on neck to rule out a disk problem. I have not gotten my results yet. Has anyone out there heard of blocked carotid causing pain or inflamnation in your neck to your shoulders? Thank you. (excuse my poor spelling)
