need a cure for numbness

i am having a neuro problem. actualy once i had kind of numbness... after dat i always feel tired at the back of my neck and all aong the arm immediatly as i sit near the computer, and after few minutes i lie on bed. if i lie on one side for even five minutes i feel tiredness and numbness on that particular side i keep down...  so please give an idea wat is happenin to me n please be kind to explain me a way to cure  this problem.

actually once i had under gone a very severe emotional pain... after dat these things started. i consulted to a neuro surgeon.. and i have done MRI n CT scan too... doctors says there is no problem seen on that... dats y i have already gave up consultation...n nw m askin help frm you.....earlier wen this problem started i did not use computer at all.... but nw i use it so often...it happens not only wen sit near the comp... but it happens wen i sit near the ironing board to iron....even nw m havin dat pain on my left side of neck... actually not neck little bit below neck......wen this thing started i don feel any pain on my right arms.... wen i touch a hot object n a cold object the feelin swwms like same...cant express the exact feeling. dat time i got kut on my right hand finger... and it did not hurt at all... so doc ask me to stay away from sharp cutleries type things... now can u give me an idea wat is happening... i think the more u ask me and explain me i  may know how to explain what are the symptoms i am havin....

Thanks for writing to the forum!
The symptoms that you have enumerated point more towards spinal nerve compression at the cervical vertebral level. It is common in computer users. CT scans and MRI need to be done on the neck. Please consult an orthopedic specialist for this. Sleeping in wrong posture, overuse of computers, and neck sprain as in a jerk or car accident can all cause similar symptoms. A good physiotherapist too can help.
You should also look at the possibility of these symptoms being due to diabetes and hypothyroidism.
