Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If the cause was not caught on CT scan and ultrasound, then the pain can be due to duodenal ulcer, pancreatitis, liver infection or due to adhesions if there is a history of previous surgery. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime. Refrain from smoking, alcohol, fuzzy drinks and spicy food.  See if this helps. Pancreatic and liver function should be assessed. Do consult your doctor and discuss this. Take care!

sometimes that could be your gall bladder
I had to have several tests and MRi with contrast to show the gall bladder did not empty out and caused back up and pain
also I once had shingles and pain was stabbing like that until the rash started breaking out
if you have any kind of a rash please go immediatly to your PCP vor valtrex to stop the rash and pain works very well
hope this helps let us know how you are doing.

theres alot of reasons why u could be having the pain from liver problems, kidneys, gallstones. do a homework when is the pain coming, how long, what does it feel like, is it going to other places and any other symptom that shows up with the pain e.g nausea, dizzy etc then follow up with ur primary doctor
